Party at Chapel Terrace!

Well not really a party as much as it was a great time and get together with new people. Ana and Tim and Steve (the upstairs neighbor) decided to have a bbq out side there apt so they called me up i came over and the steve guy called people and tim called people. And it seemed like people were just walking out of there apartments to join in. We ended up having a nice get together with a bunch of people and i met a lot of new people whose names i dont quite remember. Yeah there was alcohol brought in by a third party but NO i did not partake. I am glad i went...Thanks you guys!!

I am still awaiting the results of my calculus tests...i know it is going to be pretty bad so i am prepared for the worst.

Does anyone know if an apartment can charge you money for damages if your security deposit doesnt cover it all? If so then i am in deep shiznits!

Off to bed to then start school and work again tomorrow

This is important Matty: They can definitely try to charge you anything they want over the amount of your deposit. You don't have to pay them anything more. They just try to get more money out of you. Make sure you take pictures of everything in your apt before you leave, like that the carpets and walls are ok, and nothing is left behind. And try to get one of the landlords to come look at your place before you hand in the keys. My second apt complex tried to charge me $400 more than my deposit, and after I wrote them a long letter saying all that was fine with the apt when I left and that I had pictures to prove it, they actually game me some of the deposit back! So be careful...Sorry this was so long!

Thanks....here is why i was asking. The carpet has to be replaced cause the edges are all fringed partly my fault and there fault. The manager told me that if the carpet had to be replaced i would have to pay a lot of money...and i asked if my security deposit and pet deposit covers it and she said no. So even if they bill me do i have to pay it?...i cant find anything in my lease and i was going to look through the florida statutes.....
